Some portraits painted by my friend Ken, who, in my opinion, is one of the greatest living artists (and friends)

Mostly because it´s a beautiful autumn day, and I´ve been drinking too much honey rum. It was either this or post the photos of the flowers on my balcony. Of which there are many, thanks to the uncharacteristic rain we´ve already had this year (Al Gore must have been in town). So, without further ado...

BTW: The first is his daughter, Poppy. The second one's a self portrait. Nice to be able to put a face to the talent sometimes, no?

Very nice. Such sad eyes. I enjoyed seeing these, thanks for putting them up. On display somewhere? Website?

Hey Susan! I´ll see if Ken´s got his stuff posted anywhere but Facebook. They actually live in Thailand and all his work is over there, but If I remember, he or his wife kept a blog open and posted all his work there. You could probably friend him or his wife and just tell them I sent you their way. Kennedy A Paizs and Wendy Paizs. Good people. You´d like 'em. They´d like you. I´ll still check for a link though ;-)

I saw Wendy's Facebook page, maybe you could send her a little message and vouch for me (if I ask to friend her out of the blue she won't know me from Adam)? Thailand? Wow. You have friends all over, don't you?

Still haven't written those next posts on my blog, or added any pix or videos yet. I have bought four antique schooldesks, though, and am furnishing the ex-dining room into a really cool one-room-schoolhouse looking schoolroom. I need a teacher's desk now, and then I'll be all set. (Unfortunately, now we don't have anywhere to EAT!)

I´ll definitely send Wendy a head´s up. BTW, she´s a homeschooler too ;-)

Can´t wait to see the new schoolroom pics! With no dining room table you guys might have to become couch eaters like us. That reads funny. Mmm...couches.
Kennedy has all his work up on his blog, artscapesofthailand@blogspot.com
Thanks for posting these, Mike. :)
